Working on new block of the month.  A patriotic one.  Also, taking an online photography class from Ricky Timms.  Hoping my camera, who is smarter than me, and I get along better together.  Each week is a new challenge and a lesson.  The first week was a bust for me.  I've added the last few weeks.  I can't seem to find where I saved the first few weeks in my computer files.

This is the long depth focus week.  It's the reflection of the clouds to the east of the sunset to the west.

This is "forks" challenge.  I took it at 4am.  Cold!!!!

This challenge was shapes.  The top of an old milk bottle  The junk my husband collects has finally come in handy.

Last week was changing a color photo to B&W.

This is the second block of the month for next year that I created for my booth at wholesale market in Houston.  This one is totally made up with Northcott fabrics.

Overbrook Quilt Connection will be using this for their block of the month starting in January.

This is the Block of the Month at Overbrook Quilt Connection.  I designed it this year and since it went so well, I'm designing another block of the month quilt to present at Wholesale Market in Houston.  So I'll have two BOM's to sell at market.

As you can see, it is on my machine in the quilting process.  This is the second quilt I've quilted of these and will probably have another one from my other tester.

The quilt is completely made from Moda's Kansas Troubles line, but would work well with other lines or just scrappy.

The next block of the month is done with Northcott fabrics.

This is a challenge from Persimmon Quilts.  The theme this time is Chocolate.  I was inspired with this theme and decided to work one up.  The title is "I only had one bite".  Yes, just one bite several times.  The winner is determined by viewer vote.  Last challenge had over 100 entries.  I'm sure with the popularity of chocolate, this one will have lots more.

My advice, never leave your vehicle unattended while you shop at Walmart.  Paint, tail light and bumper damage this time.  Last time they put a crease down the whole side.  And to add insult to injury, they didn't have the guts to stop, just drove off.

Went on a retreat over the weekend to my friend's house with two other ladies.  This retreat seemed to be more productive than the last one I went on where I just visited with everyone and didn't do much, five nine-patches.

I mostly finished these two table runners.  The only part I didn't finish was the big quilted flower images in the center because I hadn't taken my wider table for my machine.  I also finished a hand towel kit I had purchased in Branson at the Quilted Cow Shop.   Feeling god about getting something accomplished.

These two tablerunners were going to be patterns but never made it that far.  So now that they are finished, I put them on my website for sale.

Getting ready for market in Houston right now.  I have three new patterns.  Two are printed and stuffed in plastic and the third one is printed.  I just need to put them in plastic.  With printing color, I'm having them done is much smaller quantities as it is so expensive.  So I watched Survivor last night and stuffed.

I think I missed the trash bin a couple of time when I was trimming the paper piecing project I was working on.

Nothing seems to keep Rex from his nap time.
