warm again

Well, it took 8 days and ordering the wrong part to get a simple igniter replaced on the furnace. I can open up the sewing room now and start working again. The top to the next embroidered wallhanging, a grist mill, is finished and ready to be quilted. Our furnace died late in the day Tuesday before Thanksgiving. The service man said it was the circuit board and their supplier was closed for the holiday until next Monday. We are living in a chilly house and I have closed off the extra bedroom and the sewing room to try to conserve what little heat we can get from our fireplace. So creativity has come to a standstill, Brain Freeze. haha

Last Friday, I received a copy of my book with comments and signatures of everyone at AQS who worked on it during the printing and publication process. What a nice surprise.

Here is my new book. AQS did a beautiful job on the artwork in it. Their added images have made it a really pretty book. I'm quite pleased with it.

Welcome to my blog. I'm new at this and it's a little intimidating for me.

I received some very exciting news this last week. My new book from AQS is finally out. It has been in the works for about a year and a half. They got their first shipment from the printer at the Des Moines show. And I got my copies today in the mail. They did a very wonderful job on the art work for the book.
